How to check eSIM compatibility

Before buying an eSIM, confirm that your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM technology.

1. iPhone: Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock should say “No SIM restrictions”; Available SIM or Digital SIM should show an IMEI.
2. Android: dial *#06# and look for an EID, or check SIM settings for “Add mobile plan” or “Download a SIM instead?”.
3. Support depends on the exact model, region and carrier.
